Coaching with Metrics

360° Feedback, MBTI and Teams

Developing tomorrow's leaders
One of the most critical investments any company makes is in developing its future leaders. And many companies have already discovered that leadership coaching can be a cost-effective strategy for strengthening both highly individualized career and performance improvement processes.

Coaching allows individual feedback and customized learning that is not achieved in traditional training or classroom programs.

The foundation for leadership coaching is trust and confidentiality. When built correctly, that foundation allows coaching to provide a return on investment that includes better decisions, better planning, better interpersonal skills, improved leadership, and higher productivity.

Specifically, HSD®'s coaching capabilities help you:

A unique approach

HSD®'s approach to leadership coaching is unique. First, it combines coaching with a variety of feedback tools and assessments to enable employees to recognize their natural gifts and identify problems that need correction.

Next, we offer you a rich source of data. Because we're an organizational development firm that specializes in measuring the factors and conditions that influence performance, we can back up our coaching with data gathered from over 450,000 respondents. We understand how leadership behavior impacts performance.

Finally, there's our experience. HSD® coaches have between 10 and 25 years experience with Fortune 1000 organizations. But their experience goes far beyond coaching. They know how to work with facts and data to build a foundation for a successful leadership development plan. And they can use HSD®'s own employee survey data, our 360° Feedback and our ExitRight® retention database to support the coaching process.

The Coaching Role

Every coaching experience is different. However, HSD® usually delivers our services through one-on-one sessions. Our coaches listen, advise, offer new frames of reference, and help the individual develop needed skills. They serve as a sounding board, a mentor, a source of creative ideas and honest feedback.

HSD® coaches also believe that potential leaders have a strong desire to improve performance. It's their job to teach the techniques that consistently strengthen performance.

Our coaches are not therapists or evaluators. Therapy too often looks back at the past. Coaching, on the other hand, is immediate and action oriented. It's our goal to help your future leaders make permanent improvement.

Who are candidates for coaching?

Candidates for leadership coaching include top executives, senior managers, middle managers, and individual key contributors. They include any employee valued by your company for their exceptional talent, past achievements, or leadership potential.

What outcomes can I expect?

How will coaching benefit my company?

Leadership coaching will help your organization better meet the demands of a changing, ultra-competitive marketplace. It can help you fill in performance gaps, providing leaders with the tools and confidence needed to assume greater responsibility and arming them with expanded skills that make them more adaptable as your company's needs change.

What costs can I expect?

HSD® bills our coaching services either by the session or as a contract negotiated for an identified scope and time frame. The coaching process for Phase One and Two is $1,500. Phase Three coaching is billed at rates ranging from $125-$200/hour depending on resource and expertise requirements. Quantity discounts are available.
