Bios
Deborah R. Dwyer, Founder and President
Deborah has over 28 years combined experience in human resource management and survey research with HSD, Emerson Electric, Exxon Mobil, and the Mead Corporation.
She received her master’s degree in Organizational Development from the Fielding Institute in Santa Barbara, California in 1995. Her area of specialization was survey research. In 1975 Deborah graduated from the University of Kentucky with honors.
Deborah’s knowledge extends beyond organizational research. Other areas of expertise are work climate improvement, retention, hiring and selection, employee orientation, performance management systems, recognition programs, and career development systems.
A. William Kolb,
Systems Programmer and Software Designer
Bill Kolb designs and supports all of HSD’s software systems. He has extensive manufacturing experience with Delphi Chassis. While at Delphi, Bill acquired a wealth of knowledge designing new products and systems. As Director of Manufacturing Engineering, he provided leadership to over 5,000 employees.
Bill has a mechanical engineering degree, an MBA, 11 automotive patents, and is a life bridge master. Bill’s greatest joy is in solving difficult technical problems.

John Underwood,
Senior Consultant
John Underwood has over 25 years human resource management experience. He has held management positions at Alcoa, Copeland Corporation, and Lexis-Nexis. Before joining HSD, he was Vice President Human Resources for Mead Paper. John’s specialty is organizational design and employee involvement systems. He has an undergraduate degree from Marshal University and an MBA in Organizational Behavior form Ohio State University.
