What does the 360 Degree Feedback tool measure?
HSD®'s standard Introspect 360° feedback tool includes 50 question items that have universal appeal and importance to all levels of managers. Examples of question-item themes include:

How is the information captured?
The 360 Degree Feedback process is a training and development investment. You should expect raters to spend approximately 10-15 minutes each to complete the 360° Feedback. It's crucial that participants invest the time and study necessary to arrive at a meaningful action plan.
The employee being rated sends emails to participants requesting their input using HSD®'s 360 Degree communication-implementation templates. HSD® is then provided with the names and email addresses of the raters and sends passwords directly to them. We also send reminders to those participants who have not completed the 360°. Participants receive a password from HSD® and complete the questionnaire online.
Once all the hr metrics data has been received, a report is emailed to the 360 Degree Feedback participant.
How is confidentiality maintained?
Once HSD® is given the name of the 360° Feedback participant by your organization, all contact is between the individual and HSD®. HSD® will not release the 360 Degree findings to anyone but the individual employee (unless stated otherwise by the organization and with the employee's knowledge).
The numerical findings and comments from the 360° Feedback are considered confidential. But we recommend participants share their action plans with their manager for further insight, dialogue, coaching, and enhancement.
360 Degree Feedback and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
If you and your organization choose, you can support the 360° Feedback with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the most widely-used, personality inventory in history. More than 40 years of research and development have demonstrated the reliability and validity of the MBTI, helping it become the preferred business tool for team building, management development, career planning and employee coaching.
The MBTI helps you improve work and personal relationships, increase productivity, and identify leadership and interpersonal communication preferences through four sets of mental processes: extraversion-introversion, sensing-intuition, thinking-feeling, and judging-perceiving. The various combinations of these preferences results in 16 personality types.
Together, the MBTI and HSD®'s 360° Feedback provide you with a rich source of hr metrics data. And you can use that data to create your own development plan by taking advantage of the strong links between personality type and 360 Feedback.
